Shooting at Union Co. mall under investigation: police

UNION COUNTY, NJ – The Linden Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place at the Aviation Plaza shopping center on Monday afternoon, police said.

Officers arrived at the mall on W. Edgar Road around 4:15 p.m. after reporting that shots had been fired. Officers found several shell casings in the area. No injuries have been reported at this time, according to Linden police.

This incident is still under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Office, and anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Daniel Hemenway at (908) 474-8532.
