The “Fashion Department Store” will feature signature Von Maur amenities such as a live pianist who performs daily, free gift wrapping with any purchase, free US ground shipping; as well as a rewards program with special offers including free alterations, access to beauty events and services, and an interest-free payment card.

Customers will be able to enjoy curated offerings across all categories, including a shoe department, an assortment of cosmetics and beauty brands, a department, a men’s suits boutique, home decor and a collection of the latest fashion and accessories brands from Polo Ralph Lauren, Eileen Fisher, Lilly Pulitzer, Vince Camuto, Tommy Bahama, Vineyard Vines, Kate Spade, Michael Stars, Louis Vuitton, Free People, Hugo Boss, Coach and others.

“We are thrilled to open our store in Rochester Hills,” said Melody Wright, COO of Von Maur. “When the opportunity presented itself to be in the village of Rochester Hills, we knew we had found a home. Our level of service, along with a unique merchandise assortment, makes us an excellent choice for the region. »

Bruce Aikens, Vice President of Birmingham-based Robert B. Aikens & Associates, developers of The Village of Rochester Hills, said: the beloved Jacobson’s store in the original Great Oaks Mall.

“As we considered our responsibility to fill a large vacant space in the Village, we knew that Von Maur, a legendary Midwestern company celebrating its 150th anniversary, would fill a deep need in our community and become a beloved institution; just like Jacobson’s.

The grand opening will begin at 9:45 a.m. on March 19. The opening day event will feature a live DJ and music, balloon artists, a selfie station and a coloring station in the children’s department. Guests will have the chance to win prizes and gifts with every purchase.
