HPD Makes Quick Arrest After Huck Finn Mall Robbery – Muddy River News

On Monday, April 4 at approximately 9:30 a.m., officers from the Hannibal Police Department responded to an attempted robbery at a business in the 500 block of the Huck Finn Mall.

A man walked into a business, brandished a gun and asked an employee to place store items in a bag. The employee refused and the man fled the company.

Witnesses provided a description of the man and officers began to inspect the area. Within six minutes, officers were able to locate the man and arrest him without incident.

The man was taken to Marion County Jail and held for 24 hours pending formal charges.
