BurgerFi opens Cherry Hill NJ location in mall

Cherry Hill, are you ready for burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs and shakes?

BurgerFi aims to open in the Ellisburg Circle mall on September 20. The location will join 116 other locations in the United States and abroad.

Cherry Hill owner Matthew Daniel is a self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur who thinks the fast-casual burger franchise will do well in Cherry Hill. He also owns Frutta Bowls in Cinnaminson and previously owned a vape shop.

“Cherry Hill is a very desirable, very upscale neighborhood,” Daniel said.

You can choose from a variety of burgers.

There’s the “SWAG” or spicy wagyu burger – a double mix of wagyu and brisket with charred jalapeños, candied ghost pepper bacon, sweet tomato relish, pepper jack cheese and steak sauce hot – or the Beyond Burger, a plant-based Beyond Meat patty served with American cheese, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions.

One thing to note: the chain uses 100% American Angus beef with no steroids, antibiotics, growth hormones, chemicals or additives.

If you’re not a burger fan, order the Spicy Fi’ed Chicken Sandwich with homemade hot pickles, fresh jalapeños, ghost pepper honey and spicy mayo or the Texas Style Dog with a hot dog of American wagyu beef, chili, cheese and hot sauce.

Order burgers, chicken sandwiches, betons and more at BurgerFi.

Pair your burger, sandwich or hot dog with fries or “colossal” beer-flavoured onion rings – there’s a Cry-Fry for those looking for both onion rings and fries.

Finish your meal with a cup of pastry cream, a shake (red velvet, vanilla, Ghirardelli chocolate, mocha and more) or concrete or thick shakes with toppings (red velvet cake, oreo and cream cookies, caramel fudge bar or key lime pie).

Daniel is excited to bring the channel to the Cherry Hill community.

“They (the community) want the store open; they are very excited about it,” he shared. “So we’re excited to be part of the community.”

“Cherry Hill is a great place for us. And we’re very happy to be here.”
