$100,000 Peninsula Mall burglary investigated

SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. — Jewelry worth about $100,000 was stolen last week in a robbery at a store on the Peninsula, Daly City police said.

Four suspects are wanted in connection with the robbery, which reportedly took place around 8.37am on November 8, police said.

At around 9:15 a.m. on Nov. 8, officers responded to the Serramonte Shopping Center about a kiosk burglary, police said.

The burglary was reported by an employee of the Banter Piercing Pagoda jewelry kiosk who arrived at work at 9 a.m. to find jewelry display cases on the floor and cabinets broken into, police said.

The suspects (three males, one female) were all described as around 5ft 5in tall and between 25 and 30 years old.

The suspect was wearing a dark jacket, pants, mask, sunglasses, light cap, gloves and a large shoulder bag.

Two of the male suspects were wearing vests with neon reflective strips.
